University of Hull
- In February 2024, I supported the Faculty of Science and Engineering's Ethics Committee by reviewing an application for ethical approval for an AI project.
- In November 2023, I was interviewed by Carla Greene on BBC Radio Humberside. Opinions on the 2023 AI Safety Summit at Bletchley Park were sought from me.
- In October 2023, I served on a selection panel when the Hull York Medical School was recruiting a new faculty member.
Columbia University in the City of New York
I served on the Alumni Representative Committee for three application cycles (2020–2021, 2021–2022, and 2022–2023). I interviewed 24 undergraduate applicants from different ethnic, socioeconomic, and academic backgrounds.
University of Nebraska–Lincoln
- In August 2018, I was invited by the Institute for International Teaching Assistants to serve on an evaluation panel. I rated the teaching, language, and comprehension skills of prospective teaching assistants.
- Between January and March 2018, I served on the selection committee of the Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences (UCARE) programme. I reviewed project proposals.
